Shinae Demaj is a heavy rock singer from Australia, Melbourne. She is currently studying an Advanced Diploma Of Music performance and in 2015 studied a Diploma Of Music Performance at Melbourne Polytechnic.
Shinae started getting into music in 2009 when she started performing in school musicals and also took singing lessons at school. She also studied Music Performance from year 8 - Year 12. She also did a lot of theater and acting which she studied at school and landed herself a main role in her year 12 school production 'The Wedding Singer' as the leading lady Julia.
Shinae found her love for rock and roll when She met her year 9 singing teacher who was in a rock and roll band. She started to listen and become inspired to be like rock and roll legends like Led Zeppelin, Heart, Joan Jett and many more. When Shinae started seriously studying to become a vocalist she found a new love for jazz because the course she was studying was mainly based around jazz and found her voice really went with jazz also.
Shinae in the future would love to be able to teach kids vocals and also do gigs with a band on the side.
